ABOUT CLELAND PARK SURGERY

Cleland Park Surgery opened its doors in 1989 and recently extended the practice premises to offer three new consultation rooms, an MDT room, a common room and a bright spacious waiting area. There is a strong emphasis on teamwork within the practice. Our aim is to provide excellent care for all our patients.

The practice has 6800 patients and covers a 4 mile radius to include Bangor, Helens Bay, Conlig and Groomsport.

The five GP partners work along with an MDT team consisting of two practice based pharmacists and a physiotherapist. The team is made up of the Practice Manager, five Medical Receptionists, and an Administrator, a Medical Reception Team leader, two Treatment room nurses and a Healthcare Assistant.  There is also a range of community teams attached to the practice who meet weekly with the clinical team.

Cleland Park Surgery has been a long established GP training practice and hosts undergraduate medical students from Queen’s University and King’s College, London.  The practice has a strong ethos of teaching and also has good links with NIMDTA and the RCGP.

PARKING

We have a practice car park adjacent to the surgery with easy access to the surgery for disabled persons at the front door.
