The Treatment Room

The Practice Nurse/Treatment Room Nurses/HCA are fully qualified to carry out health promotion, blood pressure checks, taking blood, immunisations, dressings, removal of sutures.

Our Practice Nurse/Treatment Room Nurses also assists with minor surgery and other clinical procedures.

Consultations with the Practice Nurse/Treatment Room Nurses/HCA are on an appointment basis only and can be booked with the receptionist. 

Please note that the treatment room is closed from 12noon on Tuesday.

Child Immunisation Clinic

This clinic is run on Tuesday afternoons and is for well babies. In view of the risk of infection to new babies we would ask you to arrange for the doctor to see your child in surgery if he/she is ill.

Minor Surgery

Drs Howe, Wilson and the Practice Based Physio perform a variety of minor surgical procedures and joint injections.  Please make an appointment with one of the doctors in the first instance for assessment.

Women's health

Appointments for smears can be arranged with Ashleigh Sloan, Practice Nurse, by contacting reception. 

Asthma & Diabetic Reviews

To arrange an annual review with Ashleigh, Practice Nurse, please contact reception.

Antenatal Clinic

Ante-natal clinics are held on Thursday afternoons.  At this clinic you will be seen by the doctor and midwife.  Post-natal examinations are carried out by appointment 6 weeks after the birth of your baby.

Coil and Implant Clinic

Dr Bailie runs a coil and implant clinic on the last Thursday of each month. The date may change if Dr Bailie is on leave. Check up appointments following coil and implant insertion by Dr Bailie will also be available with Ashleigh, Practice Nurse.  For more information on how to arrange an appointment please contact reception.  Dr Bailie will contact to book a date/time with you. 

Test Results

Please ring 028 9145 2410 between 11am and 5pm for your test results.

Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results. We are unable to give test results over the counter in the Surgery.

When you take your test you will be told how long it will be before the results are returned to the practice.

It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor if your are advised to do so.

We do not give the results of your tests at the reception desk, this is to protect your personal data and confidentiality.
